Value Engineering
Our talented Research and Development team offers innovative material sourcing to reduce production costs and improve performance for new or existing products. Considering your product’s intended use and expected life cycle we research appropriate materials, laminates, and adhesives. Through our C.R.A.V.E. (“Cost Reduction Added Value Engineering”) methodology, we prevent over-engineering to deliver you the same product performance with lower material costs.
Quality Control
All of our manufacturing processes adhere to strict standards to deliver you a high quality product. Our Massachusetts facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified and can meet Berry Amendment specifications for Made in USA and military products. All our facilities have rigorous quality control programs. DELA’s programs include inbound and outbound material inspection, routine sample testing, and in-process oversight.
Logistics Management
Our multiple warehouse locations, J.I.T. Programs and Kan Ban Programs makes us a convenient supplier. We work with you to ensure that your laminated components are delivered on time and exceed your quality expectations. We are able to meet virtually any delivery schedule – often within 24 hours. Our team is dedicated to meeting your lamination and material converting needs.

In 1997, Dela restructured its operations, shifting focus from commodity footwear components to technical textiles and composites, now serving the footwear, automotive, medical, and industrial sectors.

In 2006, Dela earned ISO 9001 certification, reinforcing our commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Global Expansion
In 2008, Dela went international by opening a Maquiladora manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico, enhancing our global reach and production capabilities.
West Coast Presence
In 2011, Dela expanded domestically with the opening of an office and warehouse in San Diego, CA, enhancing logistics and customer support.
